Changing your home page in Internet Explorer is the first thing you'll want to do to customize your web browsing experience. This article will show you how.
Start Internet Explorer.
Type the URL (address) of your favorite website into the white box at the top of the page.
Press ENTER and go to the web page you desire.
At the top of the Internet Explorer window, find the TOOLS button and click it with your mouse.
Move the mouse down to Internet Options at the bottom of the TOOLS menu.
Where it lists your HOME PAGE settings, click the USE CURRENT button.
An APPLY button should appear at the lower right-hand corner of the TOOLS window.
Click the APPLY button and then click the OK button. Your home page should now be set.
Test your setup by going to a different home page and then clicking the HOME button at the top of the Internet Explorer Window.
