Most men and women do not like to be blunt with their admirers. That is, if they do not like you they will not say it directly because they just do not want to hurt your feelings. 1. “I am not ready for a relationship.”- If you have begged someone to go on a date with you or have chased them insanely you should hear this line coming from them. It is their polite way to let you know that it is not worth your time to wait for them. Thus, you should move on.

2. “I don’t want a relationship.”- This line is rather too direct. If someone uses this line on you pull away. Here the person is just not into you.

3. “I see you as a friend.”- You two have been great friends. You have started liking them, but they do not have the same thing for you. 4. “I need to think whether I can be with you.”- You have told them you liked them and even asked them whether they will take things to the next level with you. But they ask you for time to think about it. Remember, if the person truly likes and respects you they will usually accept your proposal right away and that is with total happiness. On the contrary, if they are saying they need time to think about it you should take it as a signal that they see certain faults in you and thus they will consider your proposal. Move on. 5. “I am sorry I cannot come to see you today. My friends told me to go with them to the movie.”-Beware people in relationships, boyfriends and girlfriends are sometimes really busy with friends and the lines do not herald a breakup. However, if you are single and have been considering having a relationship with certain someone and they use the lines on you move on. The lines are used as an excuse to get away from you. They come after a few dates when your new love-interest has finally realized that they do not want you, but feels bad to break your heart.
