This recipe is very delicious. It is simple and easy to make and only takes approximately 30 minutes to make.

Mama Mia Meatballs

Meatballs that will melt in your mouth!This dish is fun and easy to make. The taste is rewarding in its self. It can be used as an appetizer or main dish. The choice is yours. It looks like a million bucks, it tastes like you spent hours making it but the secret is for you to know and them to find out.

1 lb. ground beef
1 cup white rice
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1/4 cup dried or diced onion

sauce: 1 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix ground beef, white rice, milk, parsley, green pepper and onion together
form into balls (about the size of a tablespoon)
Place into a 9x13 casserole dish

mix sauce until smooth
pour over meatballs

Cover with foil

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes
The last 15 minutes uncover

Number of servings: Depends on how big you make your meatballs, approx. 7-8 people

Bake time: 1 hour
Prep time: 20 minutes

This dish will make your mouth water, the sweetness of the meatballs and the tangieness of the sauce is a great combination. It is a very simple dish that takes around 20 minutes to make but tastes like you have been spending hours in the kitchen. Kids love help rolling the meatballs it is fun and entertaining. This dish can be served as a meal or an appetizer. My family loves this recipe it is one of their favorites. My kids fight over who is going to mix the ingredients and roll the meatballs. So I let them take turns, one mixes the ingredients and the other rolls.
