Perhaps these foods have been used like this for years and now I am just reporting rather than making a discovery.

Over many years of listening and learning, I have now compiled a nice list of foods that can be used in unusual ways. There are many items here that are foods while other items mentioned are everyday solutions you will be familiar with as you read. I am not a doctor,so I am not, in any way, treating these conditions with my hints to you to consider.

1.  Peroxide as an anticeptic for cuts is well known. A mouth wash, used in a 2 part water to one part hydrogen peroxiode dilution can be an oral assisting solution. It's properties abound to lift out particles of food from between the teeth with it's bubbling action. It provides a little extra oxygen, creating a treatment for bleeding gums. If used on a regular basis, one will see some yellowing of the teeth if not rinsed soon after use.

2.  Raw honey is a great application for abrasions if used immediately after the scrap is known.Just a few drops applied on the superficial cut, after washing, has healing properties.

3.  Raw apple cider vinegar is widely known for a teaspoon three times a day for indigestion and other medicinal purposes. This can be taken with another liquid so the acid does not remain on the tooth enamel causing damage. During sunny days it acts as a mild sun block if it is applied before and during exposure. Dab it on generously avoiding the eyes and any cuts, since it will burn slightly on an open cut.  After getting sun burned, it is an excellent product to dab on to prevent that burning and itching that comes with that condition.

4.  Scabies and other itching, skin conditions can be subdued by using witch hazel to curtail the annoyance of that itchy feeling. This is not a perscribed treatment for the conditions, just an analgesic to relieve the itch.

5.  Toothpaste is a really great remover of stains on clothes. Dab on a little several minutes before washing the clothes item in the washing machine. It also covers holes in the wall that hanging a picture might have made.
