Runescape easy money making guide, f2p new players and old alike!

After being unceremoniously dumped in Lumbridge, not too many new players know what to do. Once you get the hang of it, making money in RuneScape is extremely easy. There are many different ways to make money on RuneScape, including non combat skill training and combat skill training. Remember to try different skills every day so as not to get bored easily.

The first way to get money is to mine clay near the Champions Guild, just right outside of Varrock. Clay only requires a mining lvl of 1 and sell for over 100 gold peices each. The bank is nearby also. You can also chop down regular trees, collect the logs, and sell in the Grand Exchange (GE). This is a more popular method because it is so close to the bank and the GE. If your more of a combat person, you can kill cows and talk to "Beefy Bill" who will bank your cow hides for a small fee. For every 10 cowhides you bank, he will keep one as payment. It is a very quick way to make money, and gets your combat up as well. Some people collect bones from different monsters they have slain. Once you reach a high enough lvl you can kill monsters that drop big bones, which sell for around 300gp each.

Each lvl you gain in any skill gets you closer to a new rock, or tree, or monster that you can train on. At 15 mining you can mine iron ores, which can be found in many mines around RuneScape. At 15 woodcuting you can start cutting oak trees.

For ways to make money without training a skill, try going to Karamja Island and working for the plantation owner, Lathas. He will pay you to collect bananas from his plantation farm.

In the town of Lumbridge, many people kill cows but leave the raw beef behind! If you want to get your cooking skill up you can pick up the raw meat, cook it, then bank and sell it later. By this method you can get about 10,000gp an hour. At lvl 35 cooking you can make uncooked pizzas which sell for alot in ge. You can make about 250,000gp to 475,000gp per hour if you stock up on the materials needed.

Basically, anything you enjoy doing on RuneScape can be turned into a money making skill. Just have fun, figure out what you want to do, and see what method works best for you.
