Have you tried to buy a car recently? Are you silently afraid of rejection when it comes down to completing the credit application? Preparing to buy properly can help you leave the car dealership with the best car for you. Here are some tips for buying a car with bad credit.

Buying a car with bad credit involves being smart, and completely thinking though the financial details before setting foot into the car dealership. Many credit problems in the past may be resulting from missed payments, late payments, or a previous car repossession.

1. Debt. Know how much car you can afford.  How much debt are you currently in? Perhaps you already have a lot of different financial commitments that involve numerous monthly payments.

2. Car payments. Is it possible for you to purchase a car cash? It is possible to purchase a cash car for $800 to $4500 that runs well and looks nice. It may be possible for you to sell the car you have know, and upgrade to a newer car that you pay for with cash.

3. Car loan. If you decide to go into debt to purchase a new vehicle, be in charge of the buying process. Go to your local credit union or bank to obtain the car loan.If possible try to put some money down on the car loan, if it will help you quickly relieve yourself of car payments. The maximum price for the car loan should be slightly less than half your annual income. For example if you earn $ 55, 000 a year purchasing a $35,000 car is too expensive. It is not wise to have that much money wrapped up in an car that is losing value each day. A vehicle priced from $5,000 to $26,000 is a much better financial choice.

4. Car Dealerships. Contact several local car dealerships and look through classified ads for the car you want. If a car dealer tries to tell you there is a different price for financing a car than paying cash, leave the dealership.

5. Negotiate. When you find the car you want, always negotiate. Give a slightly lower price than the asking price, or if your feeling bold low ball the offer. If the dealer has had a slow month you may be able to get your asking price.

6. Buy. After you purchase the car, present the bank check or credit union check. This is the check you will receive after being approved for the car loan.

7. Get out of Debt. Plan to pay off the car loan as fast as possible. Even if the bank is allowing you to stretch the car loan out to three years to five years,  you may be able to pay it off much faster.

A cash car is a great way to have less payments. Having less monthly payments frees up your money to be put towards outstanding credit card balances, paying down your mortgage, or saving for your children's college fund. If you must borrow, do not get credit with the car dealership. Use these tips to help you purchase your next car.

Your tips are great. Thanks. There's one more thing I would like to suggest to car buyers and that is to read the complete reviews of the car that they want to buy. You can refer to Chrysler-Pacifica (http://www.chrysler-pacifica.com/) if you want complete information and non-biased details about a particular car. This online site also sells and buys new or old cars.
