Store bought soap vs. healthy soap have advantages and disadvantages. Store bought soap are cheaper you buy more oz's of bar soaps, for your money. To many ingredients that are bad for your skin in these soaps vs. healthy soap for example from france soaps are expensive but make your skin look and feel healthy.

Before I started researching about soaps, I've notice as single person, using a wash cloth, showering once a day  (1 bar-4oz) olay, caress or dove would last me about three weeks( kept in a dry place), these soaps do lather well and feel great on your skin in the shower.  When dry my skin feels soft and not ashy or dry, but these did not last long enough, and to many ingredients I didn't understand and definitely couldn't pronounce. Then when I researched online about soaps, I came upon ingredients that were healthy for your skin, but like anything out there that's healthy inside and outside for consumers is expensive, but worth spending.

Store bought soap vs. healthy soap have advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of using store bought soap is that you can buy more bars of soaps for your money  vs. healthy soaps.  For $6-$8 you can get 6 bar soaps(24oz ) that would last 23 weeks for one person vs. for example-a company called Mistral in France make triple milled soaps that have ingredient of healthy oils, African shea butter and glycerine making you skin feel soft and moist. There are some ingredients that I cant pronouce, but over all alot there are more ingredient I know and can read.  One bar of soap (7oz ) cost $8, last six weeks. If you interested in checking or purchasing their soap you can go to : http://www.mistralsoap.com , they have a variety of fragrances on soap bars, body wash and perfumes

The advantage of using healthy soaps vs store bought soaps. The healthy soaps, depending on which country and company, these soaps have all or some in their ingredients -olive oil, coconut oil, other healthy oils, vitamins (c,a,b and e) and glycerine, making your skin look and feel healthy and some exfoliate your skin. The disadvantage, and I'm being very honest, is when rinsing off the soap after lather on body, your skin will feels rubbery, but the more you use the feeling will wear off.

Both of the store bought and healthy soaps, lather very well, make your skin feel moist and soft. They both last the same time, for a single person one bar of soap depending on how many ounces would last on ounce less than the total ounce of the bar per month- for example 4oz would only last 3 weeks, not a full month (4wks).
