In the 1920's a tuberculosis hospital was built, it's given name was quickly replaced by another moniker "Hell's Hospital" read here to find out why

Waverly Hills Sanatorium is known to many as either the body chute or hell's hospital. The reason is because people were dying of tuberculosis there in epidemic proportions.Often times in an attempt to cure the patients everything from experimental surgeries to electroshock therapy was done. Hence why the moniker hell's hospital is very suitable.

Dear readers, for those of you who have never heard of Waverly, count yourself lucky. The terrors that occurred at Waverly are the stuff nightmares are made of.I am not one that believes in hauntings, but if any place is haunt worthy hell's hospital would be one of those places.

Some people who are fascinated by the paranormal claim that Waverly is indeed haunted.I have never set foot in Waverly myself, even pictures I have seen during research for this article are foreboding. Even though I don't believe in hauntings the stories I've heard are nonetheless intriguing.

If you are a paranormal buff I'd say Waverly is right up your alley.  If you have ever read a Stephen King novel it wouldn't even come close to the goings on at Waverly. Not even the master of horror could have dreamed this place up. Let's put it this way, I would never stay the night at waverly, but if you are a brave young soul you may dare to.

I have read about and seen many documentaries about terrifying places throughout the world, but the horrors of Waverly cannot be compared to any other I have come across. Hope you all enjoyed reading this, have a great day and Happy Nightmares.
