Is there something that you need to do, but you just cannot get yourself to do it in a timely manner.

Having a just do it attitude will help you to get things done in your life like no one else can. Is there something that you need to do, but you just cannot get yourself to do it in a timely manner. May be it is too mentally challenging, emotionally challenging, physically challenging or it requires you to be around people you dislike. Just to it and get it over with. The anxiety of thinking about it is probably taking years off of your life.

PREPARE YOURSELF MENTALLY - Set a date and time that you will begin your dreaded task. Tell yourself ahead of time that you will not allow anything to stop you from getting the task done at that time. You may want to learn some relaxation or breathing techniques to help you take your mind off of the things that are bothering you.

Take the time to find friends or loved ones that can help you with your task. Prepare everything ahead of time so that you do not have any excuses.

MAKE PREPARATIONS - If there are phone calls that you need to make or things that you need to do ahead of time, then get them on the calendar and get them done in time for you to start your task. If money is required, start saving. Set aside a small amount each week until you have the funds available.

DON'T DWELL - If there are things that you cannot change, it does not help to fret over them. Stress is bad for your body mentally and physically. Stress can be a killer, so do not let it get you down, just get it done.

Learn how to let go of things that you have no control over. Learn breathing techniques to keep yourself calm and relaxed.

JUST DO IT - When the time comes, just get the task done. If there is someone that you can bring with you that will actually be helpful and not a hindrance then bring them along. Get the job done.

Your mind can make things seem much bigger than they really are, especially at night when you are trying to sleep. If your task is weighing on your mind, tell yourself that you will spend the time to think about it later, but right now you will rest.

No matter what it is that you are trying to avoid, just do it now, and get it over with quickly.
