Pregnancy can be the best time of your life. But it can also be very uncomfortable. Hopefully some of these tips will help you as they have helped me.

BODY PILLOW - A nice soft body pillow is heaven for a pregnant woman. Since you will most likely be sleeping on one side or the other, you can snuggle up to the body pillow and get some relief. If you are early in your pregnancy you will know what I am talking about towards the end of your second trimester.

BELLY SUPPORT - There are some excellent stretchy belly support bands that velcro. They go under your belly and around your back to give you some relief.

EXERCISE - It is recommended by doctors that you do no more than you usually do during pregnancy. This is not the time to practice for a marathon. If you were a heavy exerciser before pregnancy, you really should tone it down a bit. This is no time to prove that you can do anything. Your blood volume doubles during pregnancy and you have someone else depending on your oxygen levels, take it easy. Most people can walk and have sex up until the final month of pregnancy. Just do not over do it.

GOOD FITTING BRA - You may need some expert help with this and do not be to shy to ask for it. Go to a store that specializes in maternity clothing and ask for help getting your bra fitted. If your bra fits correctly you will feel like a different person. This is one area where you may want to spare no expense in getting a bra that feels good and is also supportive. Don't try to be cheap and buy nursing bras now so that you have them later. Nursing bras do not give you the support you need. You can do that when the time comes. Trust me, you will be purchasing several new bras this year.

Knowing how to be comfortable during pregnancy will help you make it through the last few months. Take it easy during your last trimester. It is very important that you do not over exert yourself. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if you are over doing it. Do not go on long walks if it is difficult for you to make it back. Rest as much as possible.

Drink plenty of water and eat properly every day of your pregnancy.
