To save even more money on your Halloween party, ask each guest to bring a dish to pass. Feeding guests will be a cinch if you ask all your guests to make something to bring to the Halloween party. You can even request this on the Halloween party invitations. Most guests won't mind making foods to bring and even enjoy doing this. Ask others to chip in can save you a lot of money on food for your Halloween party. You could make this really fun and ask everyone to name their dish after a Halloween theme or object such as ‘The Witch's Brew", "Graveyard Soup", or "Ghostly Cupcakes". This can be a lot of fun especially if someone names a dish that you don't recognize the food and you have to guess what it is they brought. Get creative when having guests bring food to your Halloween party. You can really have a lot of fun with this and make guests feel better about bringing a dish at the same time.
If guests want alcohol at your Halloween party ask them to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer). Buying alcohol for all your guests can get very costly. Asking guest to BYOB is the best way to save money on booze that people may want to drink at your Halloween party. It is not impolite to ask guest to BYOB to a Halloween party or any party. Alcohol is usually not a definitely beverage at parties anyway. All you really need to provide for guests is a few non-alcoholic drinks such as water, pop, Kool-Aid, or other types of regular beverages. If Halloween guests want beer, liquor, or wine, they really should bring their own so that the host is not stuck with a large bill. Most guests don't mind bringing their own alcohol and usually understand that they need to do so anyhow. No guest at your Halloween party would ever expect you to purchase and supply them with alcohol unless you stated this on the Halloween party invitation. If, however, you do want to supply guests with alcohol, try purchasing a keg of beer or cases of wine coolers for cheaper alcoholic drinks and savings for you
