How to fix your Magic jack problems

Try restarting your magic jack.It is a computer program and sometimes it is necessary to restart. Just unplug the Magic jack USB plug (this is the one that you recieved when you first bought the magic jack) Wait a few minutes and plug it back in to your computer. Wait for the program to load and give it a try.

Reassess your internet. You might have chosen a slower, less or lite internet to save money. This is not a good way to run your magic jack. If your internet is too slow it will end up disconnecting along with other annoying problems. If you have to wait for pages to load on your computer then how the heck is your phone going to be able to run that slow.

Sometimes it will run better after you update the software. It is a computer program and the company puts out updates and upgrades. For Magic jack they are not an automatic download. You can't use your phone while it is loading but it only takes a few minutes. It will be running in about the time it takes to get a cup of coffee.

Running the program alone can also help.  Do you have an old computer you are not using? If you run Magic jack on that computer all alone you might get better results. This can be helpful and worth a try if you have one but is not necessary.
