How to Save Money While You Are Spending Money
Everyone wants to find ways to save money and even when we learn about new ways it is difficult to start. Starting will not only allow you to save money but it will also make you stop spending money. What haven’t you started saving?
Saving money is not easy, especially how the economy has been lately but with some simple steps anyone can become a continuous saver. The secret to becoming a continuous saver is following the methods bellow. Start by only doing one method of saving and soon you will get accustomed to saving money and fight the urges of spending money. After all, what do you have to lose? You might have a lot to gain!
Method One:
When going out to shop, make a list of everything you are planning on buying. Cross out the things that you can live without and only buy things that essential.
Method Two:
Save all the coins you receive as change. Use an old shoe box and place all the extra coins in it. Over time, the money inside will soon add up.
Method Three:
Every time you buy something that is not essential, save the same amount you wasted. Example: if you waste $10 make sure you save $10 for that day.
Method Four:
Make your own food. Making your own food will allow you to save hundreds a year. This includes making your own coffee: imagine saving at least three dollars a day!
Method Five:
Many of us prefer to drive then to use public transportation and saving money on gas is definitely a plus. With so many gas stations charging extra just because you want to use your credit card paying cash is best.
Method Six:
Try all five methods above and see which works best for you. Preferably all five will be part of your daily routine.
When you can finally walk away from something you REALLY want but do not need then you know you are an active saver! Keeps saving!
