Learn to wear the color blue to your best advantage!

Knowing when to wear a certain color to your advantage can have some very good results as when knowing when not to wear certain colors will too.   All colors have positive attributes and negative ones as well.  Using them to your advantage can help you better achieve your goals in life. This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear clothing that is blue and tones that are similar.  This guide refers to hues of blue that are bright and also the ones that are dark.  It does not apply so much to the lighter or pastel shades of blue.

Each color has its positive attributes; blue tones give off an air of being trustworthy and they tend to have a calming effect as well.  Wear blue toned clothing when you are someone that is in charge.  Wearing blue in a management capacity is a good idea as it is non-threatening.  It is also good to wear blue clothing when going to meet your spouse’s family members, as it is a calming and trustworthy color.  Blue toned clothing can be good to wear if you are counseling someone who is very excited or upset as it can have a calming or soothing effect as well as help the person to trust you easier.  Bright blue clothing is also good to wear when working with children as they respond well to bright colors and may be a bit more apt to pay attention to you.  Story time is a good time for kids to see the color blue.

Unfortunately each color has its negative attributes as well.  Blue shades can cause a person to be seen as predictable or overly conservative when worn in the wrong situations.  Avoid wearing blue toned clothing when you wish to be noticed.  It is not the best color to be worn when going out at anytime of the day or night, though very dark hues of blue can be worn in the evening with some success as they may help out with the mysterious look we so often go for in the evening.  Do not wear blue clothing when you are entertaining in any capacity or speaking to a large group of people.  You will blend into the crowd easily and you could make people view you as conservative when you need to be seen as vibrant and lively.
