New Extreme Sport Ogo or Zorbing

Ogo or Zorbing is a new sport sweeping the nation.  It is fun, exciting, and really gets your arenaline flowing. The Ogo is a ball inside a ball. The outer ball being 11 foot in diameter with the inside ball being 6 feet in diameter. You are placed inside the ball and rolled down a hill.

There are two ways to Ogo first being strapped into a five point harness inside of the small ball then rolled out of the starting gate racing your way to the bottom of the hill. The second way to Ogo is they fill the inside ball about 1/2 full of water then two or three people jump inside and away you go. Screaming and wet and wild. Oh what a ride, a thrill!

I would state it is a new extreme sport as I cannot see many with weak tummies enjoying this unique and crazy ride. Be prepared to get dizzy and get a good lung workout from all the yeng you will be doing.

This sport originated in New Zealand and now is making its way around the world. So far there are only two parks tha are  offerin the United States. One in Amesbury MA. and the other in Pa. I heard there are parks in England also.

The track at Amesbury is the longest ever built being more than 700 feet long. There are many different types of tracks from grass to inflatable slide tubes. Amesbury has a grass track, it looks like a hollowed out runway in the grass. Very natural looking and does not take away from the beauty of the hill.

I do believe that with a little time we will see more and more offerings of Ogo. So the next time are bored and need an adrenaline fix hit the Ogo Park. I am sure you will not be dissapointed.
