When To Wear Red

 Knowing when to wear a certain color to your advantage can have some very good results as when knowing when not to wear certain colors will too.   All colors have positive attributes and negative ones as well.  Using them to your advantage can help you better achieve your goals in life. This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear red and tones that are similar.  This guide includes all true red tones.  It does not apply to pink hues or burgundy colors. 

Each color has its positive attributes; red is an exciting color.  It can help you to be a bit more upbeat and help people that are viewing it to be energized.  Red hues are assertive as well and can give off an air of confidence on the part of the wearer.  Wear red clothing when you are tired and need a boost of energy and motivation.  As children respond well to the primary colors, red being one of the three, it is good to wear if you are going to be working with children, especially if you are going to be doing anything active with them. As red is a noticeable color wearing it in small doses can add just the right touch.  Accent your outfits with a bit of red when you are hoping to attract the opposite sex or when you need to show more authority in your position, like when you are going for a management promotion.

Unfortunately each color has its negative attributes as well.  Wearing red clothing can make you appear to be overly aggressive at times, like when you are angry or upset.  It can also make you seem threatening to people around you when worn in the wrong situations.  Avoid wearing the color red or similar tones when you are stressed as it will only add to the problem by making you feel edgy.  Also avoid red toned clothing when you are meeting with your in-laws as it can make you seem like an aggressive or moody person.  Meeting your partner’s family for the first time is really a bad time to wear red.  You want to be seen as worthy of their child not like you are taking advantage.  It is also not the best color to wear to a job interview as you want to be seen as a team player and not like you are bossy or aggressive.
