Women always want to be the focus of attention. Even at the age of 50, they want to b glamorous and charming and be the focus of attention. Well, fifty is not an age when one can think of glowing cheeks, tight skin and charming skin. Ageing is a natural phenomenon and every one tends to loose their old charm. But even at the age of 50, one can maintain a charming beauty. Though ageing cannot be prevented we can at least restrict it.

Though women who have crossed fifty cannot think of a charming skin of the twenties. But still they are not far away from getting some glow into their old skin.

Well, the first thing that a woman after 50 should think of is to boost the level of collagen and elastin in the skin. Collagen and elastin are known to be the substances that impart elasticity to the skin. It is known that Vitamin C and Vitamin E can boost collagen and elastin levels in the body. Either take Vitamin supplements or go for foods that contain more of these vitamins. Well, if you are going for Vitamin tablets, always make it a habit to take them before sleep. This is because it has been said that collagen is formed during the first 2 hours of sleep.

Coming to eating habits, it is also advisable to include a balanced food that contains nutrients, vitamins and proteins.  At the age of 50, do not go for fatty foods or fried foods. This not only harms the skin but also is risky to the health. Drink lots of water instead of soft drinks and cola.

Well, you can also come across many anti ageing skin products in the market that can give the additional glow. Better choose the cosmetics that fit your skin type. It is better to consult your dermatologist before choosing a skin care product.
