The Chucky vs Leprechaun Release Date

It seems that Hollywood is taking every chance they can to make money these days. They are sticking by proven formulas to return a quick buck. That means reviving old storylines and characters and reinventing them on the big screen with modern effects and ideas. In the last year we have seen Friday the 13th, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street all be remade and met with a good fan base. Well now there are rumors that Chucky vs Leprechaun is in the works and a release date is on the horizon.

The interesting thing about the Chucky vs Leprechaun release date rumors are that everyone says it’s coming soon from various companies. I have yet to see anything even confirming that a Chucky vs Leprechaun movie is even in the works. The only thing that I have been able to come up with is a trailer obviously made from pieces of the original movies by a fan. While it is very interesting it’s far from anything official.

I think that the idea is interesting because it would put the two small but deadly horror icons on a level playing field. Not only are they the same size and extremely dangerous but both also bring that twisted humor to the screen. Having them both in the same movie would mean quite a few moments on laughter in my opinion. The thought seeing these sarcastic killers on the screen cutting each other down both verbally and physically makes it worth waiting for a rumored Chucky vs Leprechaun release date.

So who would win in Chucky vs Leprechaun? I don’t know which one I would favor in all honesty. Perhaps the little green guy would have the advantage because in Child’s Play it was pretty much just a doll possessed by a man that sneak attacks adults and little kids. But in Chucky vs Leprechaun it would be likely for us to see them going toe-to-toe since there wouldn’t likely be a size advantage by either horror icon.

Regardless of which horror movie character wins the battle the producers would likely be the big winners. I say that because in all honesty they could throw a bunch of mid-level actors and actresses in there for low costs and make money off the names. That is basically what they done for Freddy vs Jason using some low cost talent to fill out the cast. You know you would want to go watch this movie to see what happens on the big screen between the little guys. So keep your eyes out for an official Chucky vs Leprechaun release date.
