How to Think Positively

Having a positive attitude is the easiest way to bring joy back into your life. Here are a few ways to think positively and send your worries packing!

TRY PRAYER. God does not lead his children anywhere he knows they cannot deal with. My favorite song by Mary Mary has these lyrics, "Nobody told me the road would be easy, but I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me."

KEEP A GRATITUDE JOURNAL. Oprah Winfrey suggested this a long time ago on her talk show. Every day write at least 5 things that happened that day that you are thankful for. This allows you to focus on the positive.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP OTHERS. Helping others helps us to realize how much we are blessed.
MINIMIZE YOUR  MISTAKES. Mistakes can be viewed positively when we realize they are put into our life so we can learn from them. If we don't learn only then a mistake becomes something negative.
BREATHE. Breathing helps relax the mind, body and soul and allows us to take a minute to truly rejuvenate.
100 YEARS. In 100 years, will any one of this really matter? Remind yourself of that when you are stressing out at work, or dealing with unreasonable people and situations. Project to 100 years from now and realize that time is fleeting and precious. Don't waste it being negative about something that will not matter in 100 years.
LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES. Mistakes can be viewed positively when we realize they are put into our life so we can learn from them. If we don't learn, only then a mistake becomes something negative.
