Here are some ways to weed out the winners from the losers.

Do not get caught up in the hype. Any offer that you receive that makes it seem like you need to buy right now or else you will lose out and never succeed with their business. This should set off red flags to you. You are not looking for get rich quick schemes. If you are going to take the time to build a business you want to make sure that the business you pick is worth while and going to still be around in 10 years.
Step

Companies make you seem like you need to get in at the ground floor to be successful but then at the same time once you do join then tell you to now go out and get others to build your team. If what they said was true then why would anyone else want to be a part of their program if only the first people to join will make money? Makes no sense at all when you think about it.
Step
3

You should look for a company that has been around over 5 years and is still growing. This will greatly limit the amount of companies to choose from because most companies get started on heavy hype and huge advertising budgets but soon are gone - along with leaving the members worse off then they were and certainly not rich like they promised.
Step

Real online businesses or opportunities revolve around selling. You need to create income for the company so that they continue to have the money to pay out your payments each month. Many companies do not come out and tell you their opportunity involves selling because they know selling scares most people so they call it marketing. Don't be afraid of this because the better companies will give you tons of free training, access to talk to people actually doing it, a forum to ask questions, and access to your upline.
Step

The business you chose should have consumable products that everyone uses. Your goal in building your business is to have regular monthly sales for long periods not a single large sale. Look for vitamins and supplements, cleaning supplies, food, ect. You want items that people are buying already so that you can have them easily switch to your products with little or no more monthly spending then they already are doing.
Step
6

No matter what you choose you need to go in with the right attitude. No business will just let you sign up and make money without putting in any work of your own. There are many real businesses that you can start for free and build into considerable income but your expectation should be 2-3 years of building before you would see any full time income.
