When to Wear Orange

Knowing when to wear a certain color to your advantage can have some very good results as when knowing when not to wear certain colors will too.   All colors have positive attributes and negative ones as well.  Using them to your advantage can help you better achieve your goals in life. This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear orange and tones that are similar.  The colors used for this article range from peach to pumpkin.  Orange can be very hard to wear if your skin tone does not match well with this color. 

Each color has its positive attributes; orange is a very fun and frivolous color to wear.  It has the ability to cause enthusiasm and motivation in the wearer and in the people around them.  I recommend wearing orange hued clothing to casual social events, like a family reunion or community picnic.  It will help you to stand out in a crowd as well as make you approachable.  It is also good to wear in casual social settings because viewing orange can make a person want to socialize with you more then they might normally.  You will have a lot more fun in orange then in most colors because it is very fun to wear and to see.  I recommend that orange hued clothing be worn by those who are single, as it is such a fun and social color.

Unfortunately each color has its negative attributes as well.  Wearing orange can make you appear superficial in the wrong settings.  Orange can make you seem over enthusiastic if you are too hyper or excited.  Just the opposite of that, orange clothing can make the wearer appear simple if they are being lazy or too quite.  Orange hues are very difficult to wear, so be careful.  Try to avoid wearing orange toned clothing for any business dealings or when a controlled type of attitude is needed.  Orange is too fun of a color for these things and others may not take you seriously.  Orange clothing should be avoided for all formal events or anytime you are trying to look sophisticated.  Orange promotes frivolity and excess more than most other colors.  For this reason you should never wear orange when going out to drink alcohol or when eating.  There is a reason a majority of restaurants are painted hues of orange on the inside, it is to get you to buy more.
