When to Wear Yellow

Knowing when to wear a certain color to your advantage can have some very good results as when knowing when not to wear certain colors will too.   All colors have positive attributes and negative ones as well.  Using them to your advantage can help you better achieve your goals in life. This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear yellow and tones that are similar.  The colors included in this guide range from bright yellow hues to golden tones.  Pastel yellows such as lemon are not included. 

Each color has its positive attributes; yellow tones are very cheery and happy colors to wear. They are colors that promote activity and make people feel hopeful.  You should wear yellow and golden toned clothing on days that the weather is dreary and dark to add a bit of sunshine to your day and to the day of others around you. Clothing in yellow tones can be good if you are feeling a bit blue, so to speak.  They can help provide you with a cheerful burst of motivated energy.  Wearing yellow to fun casual events can be a good idea, especially during the daytime.  When the occasion calls for having a bit of fun, yellow s one of the best colors to wear. As yellow is one of the primary colors it can be very effective when working with children.  Children respond better to bright colors then the rest of the population on the whole.  A bright yellow tee shirt on a rainy day can make board games that much more fun. 

 Unfortunately each color has its negative attributes as well.   Yellow and gold tones can project an air of impulsiveness about you when worn in the wrong situations.  They also tend to make the wearer appear frivolous, which can be very negative in some instances.  If you are particularly cheerful or energetic when wearing yellow and gold tones, you may become tiresome to some individuals around you.  Avoid wearing yellow clothing when it is very sunny out as you will appear to be electric and become hard to look at.  Also avoid wearing these colors when you are giving advice.   It is hard to take someone seriously when the just make you feel like having fun.  Avoid wearing gold and yellow toned anything during business and financial dealings.  Frivolity and the loan officer do not mix well, believe me.
