This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear white and tones that are similar.

Knowing when to wear a certain color to your advantage can have some very good results as when knowing when not to wear certain colors will too.   All colors have positive attributes and negative ones as well.  Using them to your advantage can help you better achieve your goals in life. This guide will help you choose good and bad times to wear white and tones that are similar.  The colors included in this guide are pure white, light cream hues, and ivory tones.

Each color has its positive attributes; white tones are fresh, clean, and futuristic.  A nice flowing white skirt or dress has always reminded me of linen hanging on the clothes line to dry in the summer time. When you wear white toned clothing people tend to see you as trustworthy and progressive at the same time and they notice you with little effort on your part. Wear white when you wish to stand out from the crowd or are making a statement.  It is one of the best colors for single people to wear when they are looking to meet people.  White is one of the best colors to wear when you are trying to sell your character.  If you are a lobbyist, a lawyer, or a politician, white is great for when you are really out working on your issues or during campaigns, particularly for women.  Wear white for fundraising functions.

Unfortunately each color has its negative attributes as well.  White colored clothing can make you appear to be cold if you are angry or if you are otherwise preoccupied.  If you mix it with other light colored neutral tones you may look just that, neutral.  It can be very difficult to get a desired effect when you appear neutral.  Avoid wearing white when you are going out for the evening unless it is a very hot night and you are going for a tropical look.  The evening is for darker hues.  Don’t wear white if you are going to be in a place in which you will easily get dirty.  White will show every spec of dust. Also, avoid wearing a whole outfit of white to a job interview.  Small accents of white are just fine but too much will look too independent.  You want to be seen as a team player when you are applying for a new job.
