Sink your teeth into True Blood with sneak peeks and free online episodes.

The vampire craze has hit and HBO’s sexy vampire series True Blood continues to suck in the viewers (yes, vampiric pun intended). If you’re like me - and apparently a whole lot of other fangs… um I mean fans, you want more True Blood. It’s hard to wait a week - or until the next season start in June 2010 - for your next bite (aww, sorry - I’m just full of fangtastic puns).
So, for you bloodthirsty True Blood fans who are feeling a little anemic, here are a few sites and suggestions to help you through the week as you wait for the next stimulating episode.

If it’s sneak peeks of the next episode you want, check out HBO’s True Blood site. The True Blood tidbits offered are 45 seconds sneak peeks of the next episode and recaps of previous episodes.

Did you miss an episode of True Blood?

Whether your telelvision is on the fritz, the satellite goes wonky or you have to be away from home, it happens to the best of us. Watch past episodes of True Blood at watchtruebloodseries.com or at watchtrueblood.net.
Do a Google search for other sites to watch episodes, but be aware that some require surveys and other information before you will be allowed to watch. Watchtruebloodseries.com does require registration but I have found it to be my preferred choice for watching. Special thanks to my friend and fellow Associated Content writer Haley Koehling for giving me the heads up on this site.

For a better understanding and a different view of True Blood and what’s happening in the series, trying reading the book series that True Blood is based upon - Southern Vampire Mysteries also known as Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries by author Charlaine Harris. If you like the True Blood series, you will find that HBO has departed a great deal from the original books. I personally prefer the books, but I am watching the series as a separate story - with some of the same characters and events. In case you’re wondering how the first season of True Blood differs from the first book, Dead Until Dark, read here for a comparison or read here for a review of the Southern Vampire Mysteries book series.

True Blood is showing up all over the Internet - on Google, Twitter, blogs, and  soon in our refrigerators (True Blood the drink is scheduled to premiere in September). Season one is currently available on DVD if you haven’t had a chance to partake. So sharpen your fangs and take a big bite of True Blood!
