How to Draw Graffiti Names

Even though many people consider graffiti as vandalism, it has also taken form of an artwork appreciated by many. The Italian word from which the word graffiti was from, coming from Greek meaning “to write” was done on Roman walls in the times. Today the term is more widely used, even thoguh graffiti is a form of art, it is still considered to violate the law. But it can be done so that it doesn’t brake the law. You can do it on paper. Over the years people have created many ways to crate graffiti, like on paper. Like most art, there is no right way to draw graffiti and you must develop your own mood or style. This article will give you the basics to begin drawing graffiti.

Steps:

1. First you must be familiar with the many different styles of graffiti. It doesn’t matter where you live, you could probably find graffiti nearby-if you don’t live near a city, jsut go on the internet and you will find thousnads of examples.

2. Write down the name on a blank peice of paper. Just go with any word, but starting with your name is the best choice for amateurs. Most serios “graffiters” start by making a unique signature. For a begginer start by making all the words capital and alter make them look like blocks.

3. Then you must choose a style for the name. Bubble letters are especially popular in graffiti, but there are many other styles. You can have well rounded edges or sharp edges, equal letters or big and small. It is very easy to emulate a style, and have your image of graffiti in that style to refer to. Once you learn the basics, then you could develop your own naturally! Then you must draw an “x” over the first letter. outline that, before you know if you have graffiti!
