Many people think that eating right is a chore because the foods are bland. If you are one of these people then take heart! There are many good tasting, good for you foods on the market now, and after months of research, here are the healthy foods that taste great.


Low Carb Pasta

Low carb is no longer a fad diet, but a way of life for many people. Lowering the carbohydrates in your diet can reduce and regulate the levels of glucose in the blood. Living this kind of lifestyle can also lower the chance of getting diabetes.
Many people shy away from low carb foods because they, “Just don’t taste right.” Pasta is the hardest low carb food to find that tastes like the original. Many low carb versions taste too chewy or doughy. Bella Vita low carb pasta, a product of the queen of pasta herself, Italy, is wonderful. It has a whopping 80 percent less carbs than regular pasta, is high in protein, and has tons of fiber. Surprise! It’s made with soy flour.
Here is a tasty recipe that you can make with Bella Vita pasta.

Quick and Yummy Low Carb Pasta Dinner

  • 1 12 oz. package of Bella Vita elbow pasta (cooked)
  • 1 1 lb. package of frozen broccoli
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbs. Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cans chopped chicken breast (You can also leave out the canned chicken and serve the pasta with a whole chicken breast. You can even serve it with fish.)


Steam the broccoli. Drain and toss with pasta and chopped chicken breast.
Chop garlic into small pieces. Melt butter in a small sauce pan and heat until melted. Add garlic, and Italian seasoning.
Poor butter mixture over pasta and toss. Salt to taste.
Serve immediately.

Serves 4 big, hearty servings.

14 Carbs per serving.
