An informative article on getting ahead quickly in the navy.

I would like to help you better navigate your job or career in the navy. These are Important tips to get promoted to E-3 Seaman right out of boot camp. The quicker you are promoted the more money you will earn and the better life you will enjoy.

If you are still in high school you should contact your local recruiter by junior year if possible. Get Info on careers in the navy and begin thinking about what you want to do. Once you decide your career route tell your recruiter you want to begin the early enlistment program. This will give you a year headstart. You will only have to serve 3 years as your first enlistment. In the program you will be taught things you need to know in boot camp and will begin physical training. You will be required to run a mile an half in under 13 minutes, do about 40 push ups and 40 sit ups at 2 minutes each. This is not hard so don't worry. Once you finish this program you will go into boot camp as an E-2 and you will be more confident in boot camp. You will also make more money.

Once your in boot camp choose an important job. The 2 most important positions are called Arpoc and Aroc. Volunteer for one of these positions and hold it throughout boot camp and you will be promoted to E-3 at the end of boot camp.

Once boot camp ends you will go to your A school and receive the training for your job or career in the navy. You must do very well in A school so you will be quickly promoted to E-4 petty officer 3rd class. If you do every step I've shown, you could make E-5 by the time your enlistment is up. This is very difficult but also very possible. If you make it this far chances are making the navy a career will be worth it for you. Work hard and good luck!
