If i was one inch tall: A short story
A story I wrote about being 1 inch tall
If I Was One Inch Tall
If I was one inch tall I could walk around and go in places I usually couldn’t go. I would be small enough to slip under some doors. I could hide inside bags and backpacks. I could fit drawers and cupboards too.
If I was one inch tall I would also have to be careful about where I went. If I went into a bag or backpack I would have to be careful about getting dropped from high up. I would also have to be careful about getting stepped on because if I was that small people wouldn’t be able to see me walking around on the floor. I couldn’t go in drawers or cupboards without people knowing because someone could shut me inside the cupboard and I wouldn’t be able to get out. I also couldn’t go inside peoples shoes because they could put on there shoe and kill me.
It would be pretty fun to be one inch tall because you could go places nobody else could go but it would also have it’s down sides. You would be dependent on others to help you do things in your everyday life. Also you would constantly have to watch out so you didn’t get stepped on or hurt. A good thing would be you wouldn’t have to buy that much food because you could probably survive of crumbs alone.
I think that overall there would be more downside then upsides in being one inch tall. It would save you money to be one inch tall but it would also require a lot of special treatment from other people. You would have to have someone else transport you around. You would have to be constantly afraid of the dangers of every day life like being stepped on or animals attacking you. Overall I would not want to be one inch tall because it would be too much of a burden in life.
