This is an article on how to stay afloat in the recession.

Everybody is worried about money during this recession; therefore, there are certain things you can do right now to avoid the debt collections company and the repo man. Here's a few suggestions:

1)CUT BACK--Cut back and all unnecessary expenses and travel vacations. If you have $500 allocated a month to blow money (i.e. money just for fun), cut it back to $100. Be frugal.

2)GET AS MANY JOBS AS POSSIBLE--It's hard to find one job that will pay you $75,000 this year because so few of them exist; therefore, get as many jobs as possible that will support your standard of living. Diversifying streams of income through the internet and other residual income sources is essential right now.

3)RENT A BEDROOM OUT IN YOUR HOME--If you have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home (or more), rent out a bedroom and bath for say $500 dollar a month. This will help pay your mortgate, cut back on expenses, and help someone else out as well.

4)HAVE A GARAGE SALE--Look through the garage and sell old furniture, lamps, guitars, anything that will bring value. Furniture is always going to bring the most value.

5) START A RECESSION-BASED BUSINESS--Often times the best way to makre money right now is to start a recession-based business. Go out on a limb. Here's a link to popular recession-based business for those interested:
