Life is full of ups and downs. You must experience other emotions including sadness and anger in order to experience happiness and enjoy life whenever possible. You should work toward accepting what you have and what you don't have.

For those with no real reason to be unhappy, those whose life is basically trouble free. Here are some thoughts to help you remember that life is good.

1, Keep A Journal. Write a list of the good things that happens to you everyday. What was that lovely thing your daughter, your sister, your brother or your neighbor said to you the other day? You will not remember unless you write it down.

2. Don't Let The Small Stuff bug You. So many people waste their energy by getting upset about minor irritation. It's not worth it. Why not smile and wave the driver who won't let you merge into his lane. It's his problem that he's rude and aggressive. You've missed the train? It's pointless to fret- the train is already gone. Why not enjoy a coffee while you wait for the next one.

3. Change Your Routine. If you do the same thing day after day, week after week, life can begin to seem like a bit of a chore. To create interest in your lives, you need to do new things. Do things that you don't normally do.

4. Do Any Unpleasant or Difficult Chores That Need Doing. Chores need to be done now. Procrastination can actually drain your energy and add burdens to your mind. Why not do the things that need to be done so you can stop thinking and worrying.

5. Have a Big Clean Out. Give all your useless stuff to a charity and you have helped the poor. The bonus is that your shelves and cupboards are clutter free now.
