Unique disposable hand warmers improve circulation by utilizing bodies own heat, No chemicals, no electricity, no fuss. They do not impair the use of the fingers and can be worn with or without gloves. Ideal for all out door sports, particularly, skiing, climbing, sailing golf, archery and cycling. Used very successfully by many soccer players.

HeatBands insulate the vulnerable areas around the wrists where the blood vessels lie close to the skin’s surface; they also retain and reflect the body’s own heat back to that area thus promoting a better flow of warm blood into the hands.

By utilising body heat, they do not introduce heat, nor do they have to be activated, recharged, warmed or processed in any way

The body controls heat loss by tightening the blood vessels under the skin, restricting the flow of blood - to the peripheral blood vessels ('Vasoconstriction'). The development of peripheral vasoconstriction allows a cooler, outer 'shell' to form an insulating barrier that slows heat loss from the body's core. Hands and feet have fewer large blood vessels, and when the flow of blood is restricted it is harder for the blood to keep flowing to these areas, which quickly become cold.

HeatBands are made from a heat reflective and retaining material that in combination with a soft inner lining provides an insulation to the blood vessels that lie closest to the skin at the wrist area.

HeatBands prevent virtually all heat loss from this area and reflect back the body’s own heat.

They are hygienic and attractive they do not have to be activated, warmed, re-charged, or processed in any way, they simply have to be worn and then disposed of.

Their benefit is not immediately apparent and it is possible to forget that they are being worn until the realization that the hands are neither so cold nor so painful.

Easy to use in all sporting situation and particularly effective when used in winter sports.
