Things You'll Need:
  • green or red bell peppers
  • sharp knife
  • paper towels
  • tupperware bowls and lids
  1. Step 1 cut stems off peppers

First, take your knife and cut the stem ends off of the bell peppers.

  2. Step 2 slice peppers into rings or strips

Next, slice the peppers long ways into strips or cross ways into rings, whichever you prefer.

  3. Step 3 tightly pack peppers into tupperware bowls

Then, pack the strips of peppers tightly into the tupperware bowls, filling them.

  4. Step 4 fold and place a paper towel on top of peppers in bowl, then seal with lid

Once you have packed the tupperware bowls with the peppers, fold and place a paper towel on top of the peppers in the bowl. The paper towel will absorb any moisture and help protect the peppers from freezer burn. Then, place the lids on the tupperware bowls and seal tight.

  5. Step 5 place in freezer

Finally, place the bowls of peppers in the freezer. That's all there is to it. This is a fast and easy way to freeze green or red bell peppers and they will last a long time in the freezer. When you get ready to use them, all you have to do is set them out for a little while to thaw or if you're in a hurry, you can place the frozen bowl of peppers in a larger bowl of hot water to assist in the thawing.
