improving self esteem and confidence

  1. Step 1 start exercising

EXERCISE - Join a gym or start an exercise program at home to build some muscles and get your body in shape. Shaping up your body can do wonders for confidence and self esteem.

  2. Step 2 go on a diet and lose a few pounds

DIET - Going on a diet can make you feel better about yourself. It will give you more energy, your clothes will fit better and losing a few pounds is a great way to boost one's confidence and self esteem.

  3. Step 3 buy some new clothes

CLOTHES - Buy some new clothes or a new outfit. Maybe you have lost some weight or just haven't bought yourself anything new in a long time. Sometimes we get into a rut and buying some new clothes or a new outfit is a good remedy to boost our self esteem.

  4. Step 4 practice making eye contact with people

MAKE EYE CONTACT - Do you ever find yourself looking away when others are talking to you? This is a good sign of low self esteem or lack of confidence. Practice holding your head up and making eye contact when talking with people. If you have low self esteem or confidence, this can be difficult, but practice it and before long it will come as second nature to you.

  5. Step 5 practice good posture

POSTURE - Do you ever find yourself slumping or slouching while sitting or walking? Try practicing good posture. Hold your head up, straighten your back and shoulders and hold yourself with pride and you will begin to feel more confident.

  6. Step 6 stop being negative

DON'T BE SO NEGATIVE - Try to be more positive and have a more positive outlook. Don't be one of those people who always see the cup as half empty. Everyone has their own problems or flaws, but as the expression goes, accentuate the positive. If you think, feel, and act in a positive manner, good things will begin to happen for you and you will feel a lot better about yourself.
