How to Clean Your Computer!

Clean your computer the fast easy way with no cost to you for compressed air..

         Unhook any and all wires from the computer and write down their exact location for reinstall. Remove computer to an area like a garage or basement for cleaning. Grab your leaf blower and plug it in.

          Remove the side cover. You may or may not need a screwdriver. Some do and some don't.

            You may or may not have a tunnel or cone shaped vortex to remove to get to this area. If you do remove it as well. Blow out this area real good for this is the workhorse of the computer. The cleaner and cooler it is kept the better your computer will run and have a longer life.

    Clean out the power supply real good because they can get hot if they are clogged. A clogged power supply will shorten the life of the unit.

     Clean out the case fans for optimum cooling. The cooler a computer is the better they will perform.

     Make sure to hit the hard drive, dvd, floppy drive and cd area.

        Blow out any vents, hidden compartments and behind any doors on the front.

        Last but not least blow out the rear of the computer. Clean out any vents, power supply and holes in the rear of the unit.

einstall side panel and any and all wires from your list and you are ready to go. There now, your computer is clean. That wasn't so bad was it.

Remember to write down where all those wires go for reinstall.

  • You can use a vacuum cleaner for those stubborn areas.

  • Wear a dust mask if you are allergic
