Make up Application for A Greek Goddess Costume

Sep 12th, 2009 by Faye

Be a powerful and amazingly beautiful greek goddess this halloween with this make up application guide.

This is always a good costume idea to have in the back of your head if you can’t decide on anything else.  The Greek goddesses were sexy, sultry, romantic, and powerful.  What woman wouldn’t want to feel that way?  I have gone to many a costume party as a Greek goddess and always got good reviews.  Now you can to with this easy to follow make up application guide.  I have made sure that most of the cosmetics required for this application are already in your collection, or easily attainable in most local areas.  If all else fails look to the internet to find any of the supplies you may need.

For this application you will need:

Moisturizer

Concealer

Shimmering Liquid Foundation

Cosmetic Sponge

Appropriately Toned Brow Pencil

Pink Crème Blush

White Pearly Crème Eye Shadow

Basic Brown Crème Eye Shadow

Eye Shadow Brush

Eye Lash Curler

Brown Mascara

Flesh Toned Lip Pencil

Clear Lip Gloss

First, prepare your skin with a moisturizer and any concealer that you may need.  Be sure to blend your concealer very well.

Next, apply shimmering liquid foundation to your entire face, starting in the center and working your way outward.

Now, fill in your eye brows with an appropriate toned brow pencil.  Soften with a cotton swab.

Then, dab a small dot of pink crème blush to the apples of your cheeks.  Blend this into your skin well using your finger tips.  Try to keep it in line with the middle to the outer corners of your eyes.

Next, wash your entire eye lid, from your lash line to your eye brow, with white pearly crème eye shadow, as well as on your bottom lid, blending it into the lash line.

Then, apply basic brow crème eye shadow to the crease of your eyes, and to the bottom eye lid, blending it well with the white eye shadow.

Now, Curl your eye lashes and apply one coat of brown mascara to top and bottom lashes.

Line your lips and fill them in with a flesh toned lip pencil.  If you need to soften this up a bit, use a cotton swab.

Last, dot clear lip gloss onto the center of your bottom lip, using your finger.  Smack lips together to blend.  You may use a glittery lip gloss if you wish to stand out a bit more.
