Making our world a better place is each one's mission. Let us be inspired by the insights in this very beautiful poem.
Seeing the poor, the hungry, the exploited, the abused, the marginalized, any person can easily be discouraged. But this poem give us a lot of hope and each of our contribution can always make a lot of difference.
My child, I can feel the anguish of your heart. You are concerned about the hungry in the world, the millions who are starving… and you ask: “What can I do?” My answer is: FEED ONE!!
And you grieve for all the helpless children murdered by abortion and starvation and disease every day… and you ask: What can I do?” And I say: SAVE ONE!!
And you are haunted by the cold, lost, homeless people who wander the unfeeling roads all over the world… and you ask: “What can I do?” And I say: SHELTER ONE!!
And you feel compassion for those who suffer pain, sorrow and despair… and you ask: “What can I do?” And I say: COMFORT ONE!!
And your heart goes out to the lonely, the abused, the exploited, the addicted, the helpless, the enslaved… and you ask: “What can I do?” And I say: LOVE ONE!!
Remember this, my child: Two thousand years ago, the world was also filled with people who were suffering and dying, just as it is today. And when the helpless and the hopeless called out to Me, their Heavenly Father, for help and mercy, I sent a Savior - Just ONE SAVIOR!!
Hope, Victory, Salvation began with Just One SAVIOR!! And today - If you do what I say… what a different world it would be!
