Zapzyt Acne treatment Face Wash Review

Zapzyt acne wash is a combination of 2% salicylic acid, aloe vera gel and chamomile extract. They are the key ingredients for removing the acne and soothing the skin. Also the product is oil and alcohol free. In general, it is said to work by penetrating deep into the skin to unclog the pores and treat blemishes. Additionally, at the back of the tube, in orange Zapzyt guarantees that the product will work and if it does not full money will be refunded upon returning of the product with the receipt. This definitely makes the use of product convenient. Remember to save the receipt!

        I bought this product in a hurry because my breakouts were becoming severe and due to my budget crisis I needed something affordable. I set out to use it immediately after coming home from store. I squeezed the tube to let out the gel onto my palm. I was quite surprised to see that it resembled water glue because it was clear and had that same gluey smell. Apparently, by adding slight amount of water I applied it to my face and massaged evenly. Soon I washed and dried my face. However, right after drying my face I began to feel roughness around the skin of my face. It was on forehead and chin. This implied to me that the drying was occurring and it became more evident when I stayed like that for 24 hours. That is, without wearing moisturizer. Actually, this is the way I test a new products. However, after day one I noticed that my blemishes turned small in size, but they were not totally gone. So I continued using the product for about a week. To my surprise, it never really healed the blemishes completely. They only shrunk and the scars stayed. The roughness also continued. But I took care of it later by wearing moisturizer.

       Now lets come to the advantages and disadvantages of using the Zapzyt. The core advantage of this product is that it will definitely shrink a nasty severe pimple within one day. But disadvantage is that it will not make it go away and therefore you will need to use an additional acne medication for treatment.  Another advantage of this product is that it works great as a makeup remover. That is, if you want to remove your makeup apply the gel to your face with water and with a wash towel or tissue paper clean it off. The makeup will end up coming off. But do wash your face then with water. Additionally, if you have oily skin this product will take care of it. But if you have dry skin and want to use this product you will need a good moisturizer to prevent yourself severe roughness and itchiness.

     Overall, Zapzyt face wash is effective in a very average way as a skin care product and that is why I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
