2. Step 2 take pictures

   PICTURES - take several pictures of the vehicle and include them along with any ads you place in the following steps below. it will help to give potential buyers a better idea of what you're selling and what kind of condition the vehicle is in.

3. Step 3 place an ad with auto trader

   AUTO TRADER - autotrader.com and auto trader the magazine, are great venues for selling a vehicle because they have a large amount of regional and local viewers, the ad fees are nominal and most of the time, ads run until the vehicle sells.
   autotrader.com also has a pricing guide to help you figure out the value of your vehicle if you don't have a price guide.

4. Step 4 place an ad in the area newspapers

   NEWSPAPER - placing an ad in the classifieds in local and area newspapers is another great way to advertise. the fees are usually low and a lot of people will see it.

5. Step 5 buy a for sale sign and put it in the window

   FOR SALE SIGN - buy a for sale sign and place it in the window of the vehicle when you drive it around town or pull the vehicle in the front yard of your home and place a for sale sign in it so people driving by will see it.

6. Step 6 place an ad on craigslist

   CRAIGSLIST - placing an ad on craigslist.org. will also provide a great venue for people in your general area to see your vehicle for sale.

7. Step 7 place an ad on ebay

   EBAY - you can also place the vehicle for sale on eBay. the site gets a lot of traffic and you can either auction it off or sell at your set price. you could even start the auction at your price and see where it goes, it may bring more than you were expecting.

8. Step 8 make flyers

   FLYERS - use your computer and printer at home to make up and print flyers. you can put these flyers up in local grocery stores, post offices, convenience stores, etc.
