Crying Inman, Crying Blood…

Tammy Mynatt is in great distress as eyes of her son Inman stream tears of blood. He has experienced this one evening after a shower. Presently he gets it thrice a day. Calvino Inman. He is a 15 year old boy from Rockwood in Tennessee.

Physicians have failed to reach to a conclusion as clinical tests of an MRI, a CT scan and an ultrasound have not helped them at all. Dr. Barrett G. Haik, director of the University of Tennessee's Hamilton Eye Institute, has been left with bewilderment at the sight of such crying blood. Of course Dr Haik and his co-researchers have registered four such cases of spontaneous bloody tears between 1992 and 2003. The accounts have been published in the Journal of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004.

Despite multiple tests advised by variety of specialists, including hematologists (blood specialists), ophthalmologists (eye specialists) and otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat specialists) nothing concrete has come out. Inman, still today, remains as an example of a medical mystery still now.

Tammy Mynatt has not received any assurance from any medical center or from any physician. She still does not know if Inman will get rid of this problem ever in his life. She has been spending her days and nights in utter frustration as she has come across none who is even capable of explaining the reason behind this kind of crying blood.
