Moist Juicy Salmon on the grill. No fuss, no cleanup.

Even when summer is fading away, there is still plenty of weekend grilling weather left. If you are one of the fortunate, such as this author, your grilling weather is year round! Salmon is a richly wonderful seafood that is always gobbled up by everyone at your bbq or picnic. This is a very easy way to prepare it on the grill. No fuss, very little cleanup!

Things You'll Need:
  • Salmon
  • Foil
  • Oleo or spray oil
  • lemon pepper
  • garlic cloves
  • onion
  • grill

Fire up your grill and let it be heating up while you prep your salmon. It takes about ten minutes....less if you have extra hands or if you've chopped and peeled many times before!

It's up to you to determine how many people you have and how much salmon you will need. Unroll enough foil to hold the salmon in a single layer, leaving enough to fold across the top for sealing.

Spray the foil with spray oil OR rub with oleo to prevent sticking.

Lay salmon in a single layer on the foil. If you have a lot of salmon, for several people, break it into two foil packets for ease of transporting to the grill.

Peel and slice onion. I use a yellow cooking onion because they are very flavorful and tend to keep some of their 'kick' throughout the cooking process. You can, of course, use whatever onion you like. Slice, don't chop, and lay across the salmon, covering the top with onion rings.

Peel garlic cloves. I absolutely love garlic...and it's good for you. My rule is three cloves per person. Four people eating means 12 cloves peeled and set atop the onions. I cook them whole, you can cut them in half.

Sprinkle lemon pepper or Season All generously across your creation. Put about two heaping tablespoons of oleo atop the salmon for moisture and flavor.

Pull up ends and sides of foil and seal by rolling them over one another and pinching together. There are many foil pans available in supermarkets and Walmart so you can easily use one of those instead and just cover it with foil.

Cook on medium high heat on your grill for about 30-40 minutes til Salmon is done. Lift an edge of the foil and check salmon with a fork. Your onions and garlic will be tender but still have a bit of a bite.

When everyone is finished and it's clean up time, roll all that foil up in a ball and throw it away. No easier clean up than that!
