How to Build a Wooden Bench Easy and Simple
Benches for kids is the real space saving furniture piece that still lead to great play opportunities for kids, transform your home into a child's play ground, with these great benches your child will really learn to enjoy their kid size lives.
We are going to help to build yourself a Bench of wood that can setup the style to more appropriate for your house, this versatile furniture both for internal and external, so you can paint, cover or simply varnish, to conform to any type of style and decoration. For children these benches are fun and become very friendly.
These benches shall grant a special touch, they will distinguish your home or garden, it will practically invite to sit and enjoy.
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
- wood
- paint
- brush
- pencil
- glued
- wooden screws
- Step 1
Materials need to be cut:
. 1 Piece of wood ---- 3/4" x 9" x 13" -- Top Board
. 2 piece of wood ---- 3/4" x 6" x 9" --- Legs
. 1 piece of wood ---- 3/4" x 2" x 8" --- support - Step 2
Tools :
. Band saw
. Drill to drill in
. Sander hand and sandpaper
. Wood screws
. Carpenter squad
. Pencil
. Brush - Step 3
Step 1 : Started by Legs:
*Is advisable to begin with the bottom. Cut the 2 piece 6" x 9" length.
Both will set legs of our Bench where the board seat will be glued. - Step 4
Step 2: Seat:
*Cut 1 piece length 9" x 13" length which configure the seat, its advisable
to round the corners of the seat so it won't harm or hurt anyone. - Step 5
Step 3 : Support:
*Cut 1 piece length 2" x *" the Bench support is useful and this configured a secure basis for our furniture.

Step 5 : Assembly: Cut once the 4 pieces
*Take the piece that is use to seat and its two endpoints will be useful to underline a dash of the border inward with the pencil of 2" parallel to the cut, it will be the guide where the legs will be supported.
*Once the previous step is to take one of the leg piece put adhesive with abundance, it puts on the line that's done as a guide and put the squad so that it gives us a perfect angle of 90 degrees to squad so we repeat the same step with the other leg, the next step is to put support between legs to a measure of 3" ground up. - Step 7
Screws:
After 30 minutes the screws will be tide, the wood screws will be useful to support and give durability.
Tips: recommended that the basis even stronger, strengthened with triangular pieces of wood, placed between the seat and the legs. Like this, we have a strong and resisting Bench, only using a few pieces from recycled strips. - Step 8
It's important that the hand in hand are cut so it won't give a neglected aspect to our Bench.

Finish Touches:
To get a professional fine finish, you need to sand well all the pieces with a fine grained sandpaper. - Step 10
Vanish:
If plan to place your Bench outdoor it is necessary to cover with a protector for wood, this avoids deterioration in the future.
Paint:
If you paint it, remember always respect the address veining and paint in its favor.
