Awesome Tips To Net You More Unique Article Views: Do These Things and Article Traffic is Sure to Follow
Bukisa writers get paid on unique visitors and page views. The following article discusses awesome tips to net you more article views--and I'm betting you haven't thought of it!
Most writers leave the Creative Commons Licence set to the first default setting, which is "Attribution Share Alike"--and well they should.
What this means is that when someone decides to use your article, under "Republish This Article" (the horizontal box under the advertisement on your article page, to the right), they click in the box and copy/paste the article code.
All pertinent attribution information is included so that when they copy and use your article, it is attributed to you and the article source is cited. Now, why is the "Republish This Article" feature at Bukisa so important?
Well, you may be thinking: this is a nice way for people to see my work and hopefully scout out my other articles. Hmm . . . they've just read your entire article because someone posted it at their blog or site. Unless the reader is particularly inspired, he is probably satisfied with what he's just looked through.
Okay, let's take a scenario and run with it. Bear with me because this will make sense in a few minutes.
- You write your Bukisa article
- Someone needs content, comes along, and decides to use your article. He is pleased that a simple click in the "Republish This Article" box, highlights the code. This person goes to his blog/site and pastes in the information. The complete article shows up so you aren't going to necessarily get a page view from it but . . .
Let's take a second scenario:
- You write your Bukisa article, but this time, you include links to your other Bukisa articles.
- Now, a person comes along, grabs the code, and pastes it into his blog/site. As before, your article appears in its entirety but--and here's the important part--you've linked to your other Bukisa articles. The reader will have to actually click on those links to read the other articles. What happens next?
- Let's say you've included an article link (pointing to an article about using article widgets) in an article about writing. The reader scans through the writing article, sees the link for the widget article and wants to learn more. He clicks on the link and is directed back to Bukisa.
- Viola! He reads your widget article at Bukisa and you have just gotten a unique visitor and a page view!
Article Links Mean More Page Views
You've used one article to propel traffic to your other Bukisa articles. The reader has only one way to read the material: he has to click the link, which leads him back to Bukisa and to the page where your article appears. Incredibly awesome, eh? Unique visitors = more earnings!
Each time you write a Bukisa article, remember this formula: links = views = earnings. Always include article links and soon you will see an increase in page views and earnings. Always remind people that they are free to use your articles through the site feature of "Republish This Article."
How Article Links Net You Even More Traffic
When someone uses one of your articles, this sets the stage for an unlimited number of views. Why? Every blog/site reader that reads your pasted article, will see your article links, so the traffic potential is unlimited. Imagine if a high profile blogger, in his hunt for free content, decides to use your article? He may have hundreds or thousands of blog readers and subscribers . . .
The possibilities are endless.

Hi Umi, I used the RepublishThis Article box and it copied my article in its entirety and gave Bukisa as the source. So, my information was correct. the Republish This Article box grabs the entire article.
Hi Umi, I checked your link and it looks as though someone used the blogger bookmarking button to post a link to your article and may not have used the Republish This Article box.
Hi Umi, When I checked this, I saw the entire article was reposted. I don't know why the entire thing showed, if, as you say, yours was partially added; however, either scenario is good because if an article contains other links, these will always lead back to Bukisa, thus allowing for unique views and earnings.
Great article Athlyn. Linking to your other Bukisa articles is highly recommended. I have one of my articles republish and when I went to the site, I found that my article wasn't publish in its entirety. The reader has to read my entire article at Bukisa.
