How to Get Traffic for Free to Your Website

It's easy to get traffic for free when you have a variety of free tools at your disposal.

When you are beginning to build websites, one of the greatest challenges is trying to get traffic to your sites.  It can seem like it takes forever to build up your traffic, but remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.  There are several places online that you can submit your content to get free traffic and backlinks to you site.

  • Bukisa - Join Bukisa and submit articles that are related to your website niche. You can include a link back to your website in the article and earn a little money from the site at the same time.
  • Red Gage - If you join Red Gage, you can submit links to your blogs, websites, photos, videos and articles at no cost.  Not only that, you can paid a little for each page view through the site!
  • eHow - eHow is a great source for traffic. When you do a google search for just about anything, there is usually at least one eHow link on the first page of the search results. Use eHow to your advantage to promote your websites and articles.
  • Squidoo - Squidoo is a downright addictive way of posting content online.  You can make interesting and creative pages called lenses that are attractive and contain lots of informaiton easily and effectively.  Squidoo is also one of the sites that Google tends to love.

By using these websites to your advantage, you can get traffic for free to any site that you own.  Hard work, persistance and time are in your favor.  Keep at it and the traffic will come!
