This fall purple cosmetics have made a great apperance. This guide will let you know how to wear them and make them look the best.

Purple makeup has become very popular recently in fashion world.  We are seeing many runway models come down the lane with very alluring cosmetic applications in a great array of purple shades.  Below is a guide to wearing all of these wonderful purple hued cosmetics and it is much easier and possible than one would think.  Get ready to be glamorous ladies.

On the eyes:

For those of you with pale or dark skin you can wear just about any shade of purple with the exception of very light hues.  For those of us with medium skin tones, we need to choose shades with blue tints, as the pinky looking ones will make our eyes look sore or bruised.  If you have pink tones in your skin think about using a bit more concealer for under eye circles when wearing purple cosmetics. To create a feminine look, choose eye shadows in lavender and lighter violet shades.  Pairing these with lighter hued shimmer shadow will add a nice touch to your look.If you are going for just a hint of purple, add a small amount of bright purple to the outer corners of your eyes after applying a darker brown shadow from lash to crease. For a purple smoke look go with dark ultra violets and blend with iridescent or shimmering lavender shades.I recommend going with very dark purple liners, in plum or royal hues.  These will help define your eyes and get you noticed.

On the lips:

Choose lilac shades that come in metallic or bright fuchsia colors.  Purple lipstick can make your teeth appear very white in contrast and add just the right spice to your makeup.  Be sure to apply with a brush so that you can easily choose the exact look you are going for as you don’t want to go overboard.  Make sure your lips are in balance with your eyes.  Make only one of them the statement or make them equally stunning in a matching kind of way.

On your nails:

I myself adore just about all shades of nail polish.  That being said the best purple picks are in golden shimmering royal purple, an almost black matte purple, or light lilac and lavender that have a silver shine or glimmer to them.  The lighter colors should be shimmering.  Dark colors can be sparkling but look much better in matte.
