On the Wings of Contemplation

Let us fly up and take on contemplation's wings
To free us from all the worldly and personal chains
Try it and we'll reach the Fountain of springs
The Ocean of Wisdom where love continually rains.

Just close your eyes and open your heart
Let love make her gentle and sweet start
To bring you joy that never was brought in the mart
And all the fruits that is in this Divine Cart.

On these wings we'll taste the sweetness of the Cross
We'll hear the silence of any stormy loss
We will see the beauty of being God's folly
And gently we will touch the breeze of eternity daily.

Touched by her fire… burns all that is dust
'Roused by her caress gives pleasure in full blast
Inflamed by her passion flowing from her bust
Nourished by her milk that has eternal last.

One of these wings is praying the Holy Rosary
Mysteries of love are revealed in this Story
Roses as bouquets we offer to Jesus and Mary
Never withering crowns… angels want to carry.

Christ, we adore with our eyes in contemplation
Christ, we honor in our hearts by communion
Christ, we bring in our hands through our mission
All these are done in Mary's attitude and disposition.
