Research has shown that Vitamin Water is not a healthy substitute for water. Read more for details

Over the past year, Vitamin Water slowly became a favorite sports drink among many. It promises energy rejuvenation and of course, vitamins. With a fancy design and creative flavors, it has taken the world by storm. After many investigations and in depth research, it is fair to say that one should not be drinking Vitamin Water.

The ingredients used to make Vitamin Water are extremely unhealthy. When you look closely at the microscopic print, it is clear that Vitamin Water only does harm to your body. To start things off, Vitamin Water shouldn’t even be considered as a substitute for water. Each bottle contains enough calories to go against someone when trying to lose weight. Each bottle also contains over 100 calories of high fructose syrup which nobody should ever have. Vitamin Water is as bad as any soft drink.

Although Vitamin Water is known for high vitamin density, it hardly has any vitamins at all. Vitamin Water is just distilled water mixed with fake vitamins and chemicals. Distilled water is said to be bad for you and I don’t like the fact that it is being pumped with dangerous, unwholesome chemicals.

Vitamin Water tastes horrible. It just tastes like a few drops of fruit juice mixed with water. At 70 cents a bottle, your harming your body and buying a terrible sports drink. One could say that it is better off drinking Gatorade or Coke. Whenever I play sports and have Vitamin Water as my drink, I hardly feel hydrated. In fact, I feel sluggish, lethargic and dehydrated. If Vitamin Water was really that great of a product, why don’t you see athletes on TV having Vitamin Water?

Vitamin Water is a waste of your money and it deteriorates your health. It is not wise to substitute it for water because you would be literally killing your body with 2 liters of Vitamin Water a day.
