Lose Ten to Fifteen Pounds in One Week

You can lose between ten to fifteen pounds in one week using this soup diet in conjunction with exercise. If you want to keep the weight off, you have to change other things about your daily life, like your diet and your exercise routine.

No matter what your reasons for losing weight are, make sure you are healthy and check with your doctor before starting any diet routine. Over the next seven days consume as much soup as you like and eat some of the other items when you feel hungry.

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
  • 3 large onions, diced
  • 1 large can of chicken or beef broth
  • 1 package of a fat free soup mix
  • 1 bunch of celery, chopped
  • 2 cans of green beans or a handful or two of fresh green beans
  • 2 green or red bell peppers, in slices
  • 2 large zucchinis, diced
  • 2 pounds of diced carrots
  • 1 package of fresh mushrooms
  • 2 or 3 garlic cloves, minced

Chop all the vegetables as indicated.
Place them in a deep soup pan.

Add enough water to cover the vegetables.
Add in the stewed tomatoes.

Season the soup with a little salt and pepper.
Pour in the chicken or beef broth.

Cover the pot and bring to a rapid boil.
Reduce the heat once it boils and then allow to simmer until the veggies are tender.

You can eat as much of this soup as you like. You can also add or take out certain veggies that you like or dislike. Pretty much any vegetable will work in this soup, besides potatoes, and the more you like the veggies, the more likely you are to stick with it.

In conjunction with the soup eat the following when you feel hungry throughout the day.

Grapefruit
Berries
Oranges
Apples
Bananas
Brown rice
Tomatoes
Fish
Meat - lean cut
Salad - lite dressing or oil and vinegar
Eggs
Watermelon
Celery
Carrots

Most fruits and veggies are fine to snack on. Just be careful with eating corn and potatoes.

Don't eat to much of anything.

Drink plenty of water each day, at least 8 eight ounce glasses each day.
Other drinks that are okay to consume are the following -

Unsweetened fruit juices
Black coffee (no cream or sugar)
Cranberry juice
Teas (no sugar)
Do not consume carbonated beverages like soda or alcohol.

Exercise at home or in the gym every day for this week if you can, if not do every other day.

Walk when ever you can to add more exercise into your daily routine.

One reason this soup works so well is due to the celery in it. Celery is actually a powerful vegetable that burns more calories as you consume it. For instance an eight inch stalk of celery takes six calories to eat and six to burn.

Make sure you get plenty of rest each night to ensure your body is well rested and working at it's best.
