Paypal verified account in the Philippines

You can already withdraw your paypal funds in the Philippines and Verify your account with a use of a debit card.

Personally speaking, I would prefer to use a debit card in verifying my paypal account rather than using a credit card.  So here’s a hint for those located in the Philippines.

You need to have:

2 valid IDs (at least one government issued)

125 Pesos (transaction fee)

350 Pesos (annual fee)

500 Pesos (optional if you want to put funds in your account)

• Go to the nearest Union Bank
• Present 2 valid IDs
• Pay 125 pesos for the transaction fee
• Wait for 2-3 wks for the release of your Debit Card
• Upon receiving the card, pay 350 pesos as an annual fee
• This is optional:  Load your account with 500 pesos and wait for 2-3 days and check your debit card if the 500 pesos is already loaded.
• You are now ready to apply for an EON cyber account

Applying for an EON cyber account:

• Search for Union Banks Philippines website in google or any search engines
• Click on EON at the upper part of the webpage
• Click on EON CYBER ACCOUNT LOG IN
• Click Start banking online with your EON!
  ENROLL HERE to be able to access your accounts online
• Enter the ATM CARD and PIN NUMBER and click submit
• Follow the next instructions and finish the application
• Wait for 2-3 wks for your EON online banking to be approved

PAYPAL VERIFICATION

• Go to paypal website and log in with your account
• At the right side of the welcome page, you will notice a phrase Link and confirm my debit or credit card. Click it.
• Fill up the form and click SAVE AND CONTINUE
• Note that your debit or credit card will be charged $1.95 USD. Paypall will refund this amount to your PayPal account after your card has been confirmed.

To sum it all up, it might take 4-8 wks or 1-2 months for your paypal to be directly link with your debit card.
