The chat system has a feature built in which enables you to whisper to a certain player so only that player can see what you are saying. On top of the chat system there is a mailing system, so if the person you are trying to contact is offline, if you send them a message then they will get as soon as they come online.

Also on evony you can gain presents by recieving an ingame promotion, and these contain vitally important resources for your city to be bale to flourish, so remember to check for them!

Evony is also highly stategical because once you are an officer of an alliance your the one who has to work with the rest of the alliance to sort out attacks, or even better fight back if you want to!
