Top Hair Care Secrets

Having shiny and healthy hair and an amazing hairstyle is what most women strive for when concerning their own hair.  This can often prove to be a major challenge for most of us.  Many of us spend a great deal of money and countless hours figuring out the best solutions to our very menacing hair problems.  The advice I am about to share with you will help any women alleviate some of the frustration felt when dealing with our hair.  

Only shampoo your hair every couple of days or so as opposed to shampooing every day.  The natural oil produced by your scalp is the greatest conditioner for your hair there is, and it is tailored specifically to you.  Make sure to comb or brush your hair everyday to help spread this oil throughout.

Store your conditioners in the refrigerator.  Keeping your conditioner cool will help to seal your hair cuticles and will drop the temperature of your hair to achieve this faster, making your hair shine.

Apply your conditioner two to three inches away from your scalp.  Avoid putting conditioner on the roots of your hair as it may weigh it down and sabotage your brilliant hairstyle.

Rinse your hair as well as you can.  Left over hair care and styling products will make your hair dull and lifeless.  Rinsing well will ensure a healthy more manageable shine.

Never use to much shine serum.  If you do your hair will look and feel greasy.  If you have fine hair use a dime size amount or less, for full hair use about a nickel sized amount or less, and for coarse and thick hair use around a quarter sized amount or less. 

Blow dry your hair properly.  Section your hair into three, left, right, and back.  Use the concentrator adaptor for your hair to target these three areas and use medium to low heat.  Also, give your hair shots of cold air.  This will increase shine and help keep hair shafts closed, causing the hair to dry faster.

To plump up your fine hair, apply mouse only to the roots and blow dry.  You should either flip your head upside down to create and all over volume or hold sections of your hair up with your hands or a comb.

 Spend money on any and all hair care products very wisely.  Do your research on the products you think might be beneficial to you.  Also shop around a little bit.  There are great deals to be had on just about anything if you look for them.
